A Mother’s Cry

A mother cry to the heaven above
“Lord,” she cried,” my child is without this world’s love.”
“Lord, the sullen sky seems to blanket always
Your precious light from entering my days

From my mother’s nest I was taken
And fed to the devil’s offsprings.
Oh lord, your light I continue to yearn
Until I’m place beneath the ground—
Away from their downpression

Lord please rescue me from this inferno
My sweat has drench my clothes,
I did not choose this road
This road I was force to travel
And still laboring freely for centuries
What is life worth when all that is gain
Is given back in rent and taxes?”
